I saw the lion one first and even though i loved this one as well, they never gave any reason or there was no logical plot to tie them in that i remember so it made no sense as to why??

Amazing, usually when I go through that area its packed. It looks really nice without all the traffic. You tend to not notice how nice the area looks when driving through.

this was aired in 1986 and the year that took place was 2086. that is 100 years into the future for an 80s cartoon that had a story plot exactly that far into the future.
